Creatives Want Change (CWC) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to cultivating Black creative talent beginning at the high school level and continuing into early professional development, founded by Randy Cousin (SVP Product Concept & The People’s Place Program, Tommy Hilfiger), Joe Medved (Founder, Joe’s Blackbook), and Matthew Kane (Men’s & Women’s Design Manager, Club Monaco).
They are currently accepting applications until March 1st for their Summer 2022 Pre-College Fellows. (CWC) Fellows are Black high school students who are sponsored to attend Pre-College Summer Programs in Fashion Design at the best design schools in the country. Students are invited to apply for the Summer 2022 session and will be matched by (CWC) with partner programs to help them explore an interest in Fashion.
Fellows are Black high school students who have at least finished their freshman year and are interested in pursuing a career in fashion and design. Students will be able to participate in on-campus or online programs with tuition, room & board, supplies, and related travel fully covered. Fellows are also offered future opportunities for mentoring, internships, and guidance towards undergraduate study and jobs in the fashion industry.
