Young people exploring creative careers often face real barriers, from limited access and a lack of industry connections to simply not knowing where to begin. Our recent High School Creative Careers Day brought leaders from fashion, beauty and the wider creative industries directly into the classroom to help change that.
Students received practical, actionable advice on building portfolios, finding mentors, navigating early career steps and understanding the huge range of roles across the creative sector. The panel featured an inspiring lineup: creative director and editor Susan Bender-Whitfield, Jade Giushard of LVMH, Anita Chhiba of Diet Paratha, Ella from Charlotte Tilbury, Naomi from TikTok, content creator Guhdeh Phillip, and broadcaster Afua Hagan.
They shared honest stories, answered student questions and helped the next generation of creative talent see that careers in the creative industries are not only possible but they’re within reach.
Our Creative Careers Days sit at the heart of our mission: to create equitable access to creative education and empower the next generation of designers, makers, innovators and leaders. By connecting students with real industry voices we help build confidence, expand aspirations and open pathways into a more inclusive workforce where everyone feels they belong..
As we continue our work across the globe we remain committed to supporting young creatives and strengthening the future of the global creative industry.
