Day-to-day running of the showroom, ensuring daily tasks are carried out efficiently, which include general office procedures such as keeping supplies stocked, and recycling.
Media-monitoring; ensuring publications are checked on a regular basis, including daily newspaper, digital and social media. This is one of the main tasks for the Account Executives and is their responsibility to ensure coverage is flagged and sent to the relevant internal team member or client. Dissemination of clippings is decided between the agency and the client. The procedures should be followed correctly and in the time frame specified.
Showroom; as well as booking samples in and out they should be kept tidy at all times. Ensure visual merchandising is according to the agency standards.
Successfully liaising with the assistants of stylists, VIPs and influencers to ensure the smooth running of sample logistics.
At times you will be asked to pitch pieces or collections for inclusion in an editorial. Take direction from your AM for this.
Reporting; contribute to written and visual reports as required by your team.
Ability and willingness to take on new projects outside of general duties.
This is a dynamic role and the above is not an exhaustive list of duties. The Account Executive is an integral member of the team and is expected to carry out many tasks as required by their AM and AD. As well they should provide leadership and guidance to Showroom Co-ordinators and Work Placements.
