Dr. Martens is a globally recognisable and culturally influential British brand, with over 60 years of rich heritage.

The role sits in the Marketing Creative team, based in their Camden HQ. Their team is positioned within the Global Marketing department and is the central hub for globally-led marketing assets, artwork and creative guidelines across all consumer touchpoints. Dr. Martens are brand guardians within the business, ensuring all creative produced internally, externally and within regional markets is best-in-class and in line with global direction.

Marketing Creative drives empowering brand creative, anchored through the lens of the consumer.

Reporting to the Creative Manager and responding to briefs from the Global Brand Marketing team and Global Social Media team, the role will focus on video asset creation across a varity of projects, primarily for social media platforms.

As their Video Content Creator, you’ll also be responsible for producing internal sizzle films and seasonal sell-in videos to aid sales teams in the early stages of each commercial season, bringing to life the creative direction of the product design team through a marketing lens.

Concepting & Ideation:

  • Ideating and presenting ideas for how we can create social first content jumping off the Global campaign creative
  • Developing creative guidelines for social media campaign assets
  • Graphic design applied to social video content
  • Concept, storyboards in response to briefs for seasonal direction and internal brand films

Videography and Editing:

  • Videography and video editing for brand and product marketing campaigns, specifically for social channels
  • Creation of Sizzle film edits for sell-in, seasonal product launches, PR buzz films, marketing wrap ups
  • Hero campaign video cut downs and reformatting for paid media, retail screens
  • Content capture at live events (festivals, brand activations) and editing of this content
  • Filming and editing interviews of staff for PR communications and internal comms


  • A strong portfolio demonstrating proven experience of creative direction, videography and editing for a consumer goods brand or agency
  • A strong understanding of the social media landscape and what sets social-first content apart
  • Extensive knowledge of leading industry trends and techniques and an interest in creative innovation
  • Excellent understanding of and genuine interest in fashion and consumer brands, music, arts and global youth culture, particularly Gen Z.
  • Highly skilled videographer, including post production/editing
  • Highly proficient in Adobe CC, specifically Premier Pro, After Effects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and the ability to produce professional presentations using Powerpoint.
  • Proven experience and the ability to deliver engaging pitches to senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload and prioritise multiple projects under pressure
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
