For Mental Health Awareness Month, Fashion Minority Alliance had the privilege of welcoming David Harewood OBE, actor, broadcaster, writer, President of RADA, and a prominent voice for better mental health support, for an intimate conversation at The Roof Gardens.
Through a screening of his raw, honest and eye-opening documentary Psychosis & Me, David opened up about the cumulative effects of the “everyday struggle”, the realities of living with mental illness and the work that helps support sufferers and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.
The honesty of David’s words and work is a reminder for us all that mental health matters in every journey, every dream and every path.
